Activity description
There's no need to go to the moon to discover a new world: a new planet is waiting for you just couple of meters below the water!
Enter the world of scuba diving: it's easy and fun!
What is an Open Water course?
The Junior Open Water and the Open Water courses are the first steps to become a certified scuba diver.
The Advanced open water will improve your diving level. The certifications are certified by the PADI association: your diplomas will be valid anywhere in the world!
Diving Center La Gorgonia is also recognized by PADI with the highest level of quality: the 5 Star Dive Resort label! The center uses the best teaching methods and expertise to help you progress easily.
You will also be given first class facilities and equipment, sponsored by Mares!
Where?
The beautiful transparent waters of the Aeolian Islands will be your playground: you'll have the chance to observe the beautiful underwater scenery. You'll be impressed by the variety of landscapes and diving sites.
What's the structure of the course?
The Junior Open Water is designed for kids above 10 years old and it is the first step to become a certified scuba diver.
The Open Water is designed for people over 15 years old. The certificate will enable you to dive independently up to 18 meters.
The Advanced Open Water requires the Open Water certification and will enable you to dive independently up to 30 meters.
The Diving Center La Gorgonia will do its best to make sure that the courses fit your agenda.
Each Course is divided in different sections: theory and practice.
Theory courses can be held on site, using the center's books and videos, or directly online before you come to the diving center. In this case, the Diving Center La Gorgonia will provide you access to the online training on PADI's website. This option is a great opportunity to fully enjoy your vacation: no need to spend time studying books!
All the dives need to be done necessarily on site, with the support of your instructors.
